Welcome! Thank you for checking in on our website to see what is going on at the Pregnancy Center. The Volunteers and I feel it is a great privilege for us to serve at the centers. We covet your prayers for us to share the gospel with all boldness, to speak the truth in love and to show a Christ-like attitude. Pray that our President will value the lives of these children and parents as God does. Let's continue to go FORWARD, not BACKWARD in our struggle to save the lives of the unborn. Pray that we will continue to share the gospel in love with boldness. For a more tangible way to help, we are always in greatest need of diapers and wipes. Anything that you would need for a baby, we need these items too. You may drop off donations during regular business hours at each of our center locations. Thanks for all your support and prayers.DIAPER EVANGELISMWe hope that your are celebrating both your life and eternal life on a daily basis. The economy is not the best right now and we at the centers are seeing an increase in clients. All our clients come for classes to earn diapers for their babies. Although we have a budgeted amount for diapers, it is one of the biggest expenditures we have. Each time these girls come for a class...- ... we have another opportunity to share the gospel
- ... we have an opportunity to disciple
- ... we have an opportunity to show the love of Christ
We ask that you consider one such incident. A 16-year-old girl came in for classes for 6 months and prayed to receive Christ as her Savior. She brought in another young girl that also prayed to receive Christ. A young man also came in on his lunch break to hear the gospel and prayer to receive Christ because of this girls testimony. How the Lord has blessed the efforts of this ministry! I say all that to say this. It is imperative that we keep diapers in stock for the clients. February 2012 NewsletterFrom Your Director: Pastors I want to inform you that Theresa Lowe, Chairperson for the Pregnancy Centers, has been, and will be, making calls to you in the near future. Some of you she has already spoken to and I am very encouraged by your response. We are making available to your church, DVD’s on Abstinence, by Pam Stenzel. We use her material to teach those vital lessons here at the West Florida Pregnancy & Family Centers. Recently, we updated our material. Because it is so pertinent to our ministry and to our young people, we ordered an extra set. We really like how she handles this truth in a straight forward and Godly way. These DVD’s are available for your use. They can be checked-out at the West Florida Baptist Association Office Library, 1641 Brickyard Rd, Chipley. 638-0182One set is called "Love Lessons," this is a four lesson series, one hour long. With reproducible written material.One set is called "Sex-Ed: No Screwin’ Around," this is a thirty-five minute DVD.One set is called "Sex Still Has a Price Tag," this one is a one hour long DVD.
